The Healthcare Management pathway with ATHE Level 3, 4 and 5 Diplomas provides learners with a flexible route into higher education and career development in the health and social care sector. This course is suitable for learners who wish to develop knowledge in healthcare systems, care management, safeguarding, leadership, communication, professional practice, quality improvement and service delivery.
The ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care introduces learners to key areas of health and social care and is designed for those who wish to progress to a health and social care degree but may not have traditional university entry qualifications.
Learners are expected to progress to Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas, where they develop deeper understanding of health and social care practice, management, leadership, policy, ethics, risk management, communication and service improvement.
On successful completion of relevant ATHE Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications, learners are eligible to progress into a UK university top-up degree, such as BA/BSc (Hons) Healthcare Management, BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care, or related healthcare leadership programmes, subject to each university’s admission requirements. DeGesh School of Entrepreneurship helps learners to universities which include Arden University for BA (Hons) and the University of Bolton for BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care.
The course enables the learners to get future roles in healthcare administration, care coordination, service management, health and social care leadership, community care, and related management positions.
